Instructions for Use
- Remove your dried chalk, blood, sweat and tears with your Barbell Rescue Brush.
- Apply our Multi-purpose oil to the barbell.
- Grab a beverage and let the oil do it's magic for at least 15+ minutes. The longer the better.
- Scrub the cleaning solution deep into the knurling with your Barbell Rescue brush.
- Wipe down your bar with our towel to help remove any excess cleaning solution.
- Stand back in awe on how easy and fast it was to clean your bar!

For the last few years, I’ve been the “toothbrush and 4-in-1 oil” guy, painfully cleaning barbells one knurl at a time hunched over looking like Sméagol from Lord of the Rings. The toothbrush method works great for small rust spots, but built-up chalk takes forever to clean. The Barbell Rescue Brush honestly cuts that cleaning time by more than half, especially when bringing old Facebook Marketplace barbells back to life. I also really appreciate that the company sells replacement inserts. I hate throwing things away when a product still has plenty of life left and just needs a small replacement part. Nice to see a company make something well thought out instead of going the planned obsolescence route.
I bought this as a gift for my sister, but I couldn't resist popping it out of the tube to try on my own bars first. This is so much less of a pain than trying to use a traditional brush on something the shape of a barbell, and I can clean and brush in oil in about a quarter of the time with one of these. I'll be back in the future for one of my own when it's replacement time.

I purchased a SS Texas Power Bar on Facebook Marketplace. The bar had been in storage for a long time, and it was pretty obvious that it hadn’t been properly maintained when it was being used. The combination of the Barbell Rescue brush and multi-purpose oil made a noticeable difference!

We travel full-time, and our gym is outside, so our barbells are always out in the elements. They were looking pretty rough after years of rust, dirt, and grime. The Barbell Rescue brush and oil combo is awesome! Just a little scrubbing, and our 8+ year old barbells look AWESOME, basically like new. If you want to keep your barbells looking great, I highly recommend it!!! 🏋️♂️

Keeping my home gym clean was time consuming and after the first use I knew this was one of the best additions to my arsenal. Big enough to breeze through barbells yet compact enough for my QuickDraws. This is easily the best barbell brush I've used, and I've tried a bunch of them. My favorite part is that it catches all the crap that comes off of my bar before it ends up on the floor. Great brush and worth every penny!
Great looking products and packaging. Might be hard to tell on my mates barbell but it did a great job of cleaning the chalk off. The dirt is a different matter. Maybe another one that has rags or a cloth that fits around a bar too clean dirt… Idea?
Quite simply the easiest and cleanest method to remove Chalk from a barbell. A few strokes and the nylon brushes were able to get into the deep gnurling to remove Chalk, both old and new. The look is sleek and much more aesthetically pleasing to the eye than grill brushes. The nylon brushes work so effectively and are easier on the bars than their metal counterparts. Definitely a must for any gym owner!

As Good As It Gets I've been using power drill brush attachments before this; I wish I had made the switch much sooner. This is an extremely effective specialized tool to clean your barbell. I was able to scrape everything off of my OPB without even using 3-in-1 oil, the spring mechanism clamps onto the bar to keep it from falling but leaving you free to apply as much pressure as you want, and the bristles are stiff enough to get between the volcano knurling grooves. It's constructed very well and feels like it'll last a long time.
